The system's fast and stable water flow, up to 1.5 gallons per minute, ensures it is well-suited for both household and commercial use. It can fill a 12-ounce cup in just 4 seconds, making it a convenient choice.
The installation process is straightforward, with a step-by-step guide provided. First, the system head connector is mounted, and the filter is inserted. Next, the feed water is shut off, and the existing hose is disconnected from the cold water valve, then connected to the provided inlet valve and hose. The faucet parts are then assembled and connected to the system with the provided hose. Finally, the feed water valve is opened, and the system is flushed for 10 minutes before its first use.
This Pureal hybrid home water filtration system is certified by NSF 42 and NSF 372, ensuring it effectively reduces chlorine, heavy metals, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while retaining beneficial minerals such as calcium, potassium, sodium, and magnesium. It does not, however, lower the total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water.
The system comes with a stainless faucet, a 10-inch filter, a 1/4-inch faucet, a 3/8-inch hose, Teflon tape, thread fittings, screws, a reducing straight connector, an inlet valve, and a manual. The PPU-1000K model is similar but does not include a faucet, instead featuring a braided hose.
With a capacity of 10,000 gallons, the filter cartridge can provide the same amount of drinking water as more than 75,000 bottles of water. It is recommended to replace the cartridge every 6-8 months for optimal filtration performance.
The Pureal brand offers compatibility with Everpure QL3B and QL3 head connectors, providing a cost-effective solution without compromising quality.
